Privacy — Vonkelveld website and iPad

The game

The iPad edition is in preparation and is not yet available on the App Store. The current build does not collect or transmit personal information or gameplay analytics to us. It has no advertising, tracking or account registration and can be played offline.

We plan a free edition with a permanent full-game purchase and Restore Purchases. Purchase support is still being implemented. We will update this policy to describe the final purchase and restore data handling before release.

Saves, settings, screenshots you create and technical diagnostic files are stored on your device. The game does not upload them. Device backups and any files you choose to copy or share are governed by your device settings and the services you use. Uninstalling the app removes its local app data; exported copies and backups may remain.

The game uses local file metadata to manage its own files and system timing to run the simulation, animation, audio and saves. These uses do not identify you or send information to us.

If you contact support

Email is voluntary and separate from game data collection. If you contact info@vonkelveld.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Nothing is attached or sent automatically by the game.

We use this information to answer your request and investigate the problem. Our email service processes the correspondence to deliver and store it. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. We retain support correspondence only as long as needed for support, related records and applicable legal obligations. Contact us at the same address to request access, correction or deletion.

Apple and external services

Apple processes App Store purchases, downloads and any diagnostics you choose to share with Apple under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details through the game.

Opening a support or privacy link uses your browser or email app. This website is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may process connection information under its privacy statement. Our website has no analytics scripts or contact forms. The home and press pages load Google Fonts, which receives connection information such as your IP address when its font files load. Company, support and privacy pages use system fonts. The trailer is a link to YouTube: no YouTube player loads on this website. Following a Steam, YouTube or other external link opens that service, whose own privacy policy applies.

Other editions and updates

This iPad policy does not describe the Steam edition's optional analytics settings. We will update this page if the iPad game's data practices change, with the effective date shown above.
