The game does not automatically send reports or attach your saves. We may ask you to share a specific save or diagnostic file if it helps investigate a problem. See our iPad privacy policy.

Steam on Windows

The full game and free demo are available on Steam. Include the game version and scenario when reporting a problem. Demo saves carry into the full game on the same PC.

iPad touch controls — preview build

Drag the world to pan and pinch to zoom. Choose a power, tap the world to place its preview, then drag the preview to adjust the target. Tap the target again or use Cast to apply it. Use Cancel or a quick two-finger tap to dismiss the preview.

Use Pause and the speed controls to give yourself time. The Followed panel separates a person's overview from their story; the Layers toolbar changes what the map shows.

Saves and device changes

Use the game's save controls and confirm that your saved world appears before closing. iPadOS may end an app in the background. Keep a backup of important worlds before removing or reinstalling the app.

Files in the app's Documents/Vonkelveld folder can be copied through iPad file sharing. Removing the app can delete its local saves. Once the iPad edition is released, App Store purchase and refund enquiries will be handled by Apple through Report a Problem.

Performance

For a busy world, choose a lighter profile in Settings → Visuals or reduce individual effects. If a problem repeats, tell us which world and speed you used and whether it followed locking or backgrounding the iPad.

Availability

The iPad edition is in preparation. The plan is a free edition with a permanent full-game purchase and Restore Purchases, without ads. It is not yet available on the App Store; purchase and restore support, release timing and the unlock price are still being finalised. The Windows edition remains available on Steam.
